I do extensive research for all my books in order to give them a realistic, believable setting. It's important to me that my stories, even the fantasies, be plausible and reasonable. However, my books are fiction.

Webster's defines fiction as: something invented by the imagination or feigned; specifically : an invented story.

I attempt to make certain there are no glaring inaccuracies to lessen the reader's enjoyment.  You won't find characters in my historically set stories flipping on light switches or wearing clothes with zippers that haven't been invented yet.  But I have not and will not ever claim that my books are absolutely historically accurate. I do my homework, but sometimes I do use poetic license. After all, this is fiction.

If you are a history buff who is irritated by the inaccuracy of the slightest piece of trivial information, my books are probably not for you.
